A Reserva Decaf

Grade SFC (Super Fine Cup)

A Reserva Decaf is JA Coffee’s exclusive Brazilian green coffee from Cerrado Mineiro, produced by Maria Aparecida Bartoloci, Ziberto de Jesus Macedo, and other local farmers. This Arabica lot is prepared at Screen 17/18 and decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Process, offering a Brazilian decaf built around the same producer relationships behind A Reserva.

Dark chocolate and cocoa lead the cup, followed by roasted nuts and cherry. Mild acidity keeps the profile balanced, while good sweetness and a full, smooth mouthfeel give this decaf plenty of structure.

Available in 60kg bags with GrainPro protection to help preserve freshness, A Reserva Decaf is a Brazilian Mountain Water Decaf for roasters looking for a chocolate-forward, nutty profile with the consistency of a Screen 17/18 preparation.

Direct trade green coffee imported by JA coffee through long-term relationships at origin, for specialty coffee roasters.

What is so special about this coffee?

What sets A Reserva Decaf apart is its Mountain Water decaffeination process, which uses water to remove caffeine while preserving as much of the coffee’s original character as possible. It gives a way to offer A Reserva as a decaf while keeping the focus on the Brazilian coffee selected before decaffeination.

A Reserva is an exclusive JA Coffee selection from Cerrado Mineiro, produced by Maria Aparecida Bartoloci, Ziberto de Jesus Macedo, and other local farmers with generations of coffee-growing experience. The decaf builds on that same selection, combining a Screen 17/18 Brazilian Arabica with Mountain Water processing to offer roasters a decaffeinated version of a coffee that has been part of JA Coffee’s Brazilian program.
