Grade SFC (Super Fine Cup)
A Reserva Mini is part of JA Coffee’s exclusive Brazilian selection from Cerrado Mineiro. Naturally processed and grown by Maria Aparecida Bartoloci, Ziberto de Jesus Macedo, and other local farmers, it brings together individual harvests and the experience each producer has built working their land.
Walnut and peanut lead the cup, followed by dark chocolate and earthy notes. Hints of black cherry and graham cracker add fruit and cereal character to a profile that balances nutty flavours with a savoury side.
Offered in very small quantities, A Reserva Mini is prepared in screen size 14/16. This selection is for roasters seeking a Brazilian natural with a nut-and-cacao profile and subtle fruit character.
This is unroasted coffee ready to be roasted at home or your local roastery.
The preparation gives smaller beans their own selection. During screening, coffee passes through sieves that separate it by size. For roasters, this provides a useful physical characteristic to consider during sample roasting, alongside moisture, density, and how the coffee develops in the roast.
Natural processing which means they dry the coffee inside the whole cherry. Before milling, moisture must move through both the seed and the surrounding fruit, making drying management an important part of preparation. Behind the finished green coffee is the work of following that drying progress and deciding when the coffee is ready for the next stage.
The high quality of 'A Reserva' is deeply rooted in the rich tradition and generational expertise of the growers from Brazil's Cerrado Mineiro region.
This deep understanding of the land, climate, and coffee cultivation, passed over generations, results in a coffee produced with high standards and representative of its heritage. Available exclusively through JA Coffee, 'A Reserva' embodies the spirit and legacy of Brazilian coffee.
