If you are seeking incredible coffees with a cause, then look no further. The ACC Por La Paz washed brings together specialty green coffee beans grown by small-scale farming families in the heart of Cauca, Colombia. Produced by members of the Association of Coffee Growers of Central Cauca for Peace (ACC Por La Paz), this coffee reflects a shared effort to make coffee farming a dignified and stable way of life in a territory where coffee has been strengthened as a legal, stable source of income, allowing farming families to remain on their land with dignity and long-term economic stability.
This washed coffee offers a clean cup, with notes of yellow fruits, brown sugar sweetness, hazelnut, and fresh lemon citrus. The profile is juicy and well-balanced, making it easy to work with across different roast styles. Produced from a blend of Castillo Tambo, Castillo Sur, and Caturra varieties, the coffee is carefully processed with 18 - 24 hours of aerobic fermentation, followed by solar and mechanical drying, this coffee delivers clarity and consistency.
Offered in a 70kg bag of green coffee preserved in Grain-pro packaging for optimal freshness. A solid choice for roasters looking for a reliable Colombian coffee with real social roots, this lot combines transparency, consistency, and purpose. Work with a coffee that speaks through the land and the people behind it.
This coffee grows in the regions of Piendamó, Morales, and Cajibío, where elevation, steady climate, and careful farming practices combine to produce a clean and expressive cup. Grown between 1,650 and 1,800 meters above sea level, the coffee develops slowly, resulting in good density, bright citrus acidity, gentle sweetness, and a juicy, balanced body. The washed process, combined with 18 - 24 hours of aerobic fermentation, helps preserve clarity while allowing the character of the land to show through.
What makes this coffee really special is the people who make it. ACC Por La Paz unites smallholder farmers in the heart of Cauca who have chosen coffee as a way to remain on their land and build a dignified future, despite the strong economic pressure rural families often face from illicit crops in this region. Through collective organization, shared learning, and ongoing technical support, the farmers strengthen coffee as a legal and viable livelihood. They improve quality while building resilient local communities. This coffee isn't about trends or shortcuts. It reflects steady work, trust, and a long-term commitment to cultivating something meaningful, one harvest at a time.
In 2016, coffee growers in central Cauca formed ACC Por La Paz to organize and face economic instability and limited market access together, in a region where external pressures and limited opportunities often shape rural livelihoods. In Piendamó, Morales, and Cajibío, farming families joined forces to safeguard their livelihoods and support each other through coffee production. To them, coffee is more than just a crop; it's a commitment to tending the land with care and staying grounded in their community.
Over time, the association has grown into a shared life journey. Farmers exchange knowledge, receive technical support, and work collectively to improve quality and access better markets. Each lot produced through ACC Por La Paz reflects cooperation, patience, and the belief that long-term peace is built through everyday work in the coffee fields.
ACC Por La Paz coffees come from small, family-run farms spread across the hills of Cauca, The landscape allows coffee cherries to mature slowly, supporting balanced sweetness and bright, clean profiles.
