Fruity Loops is a vibrant washed Geisha green coffee that has quickly become a favourite among roasters. Produced at Finca La Villa in San Jose de Isnos Huila, Colombia by Juan Darío Gomez, a member of the CADEFIHUILA Cooperative. Finca La Villa sits at 1,720 masl and has been growing coffee since 1965, and today La Villa is known for producing high-quality lots through methodical processing and different fermentation processes.
This Geisha is fully washed and undergoes a 24-hour fermentation, resulting in a clean, vibrant cup with floral aromas, lemongrass brightness, and a silky mouthfeel. Tasting notes include Kyoho grapes, tropical fruits, and flower tea. With medium body, bright acidity, delicate balance, and a floral-sweet aftertaste, this coffee is a standout selection for both filter and espresso-based brews.
Available in small quantities, Fruity Loops is perfect for roasters looking to feature a clean, expressive, and fruit-forward coffee from one of Colombia’s top coffee-growing regions.
This is unroasted coffee ready to be roasted at home or your local roastery.
At Las Flores, brothers Johan and Diego Vergara bring together tradition and innovation to push the limits of Colombian coffee. Diego leads with a precise approach to fermentation and drying, while Johan drives experimentation with new varieties and processes. This combination has not only produced consistently remarkable coffees but also influenced other producers in Huila to raise their game.
The Red Bourbon Natural reflects that spirit: vibrant florals, candy-like fruit, and rich chocolate depth come together in a cup that feels both playful and refined. It’s a coffee that carries the brothers’ signature—distinctive, forward-looking, and unforgettable on the cupping table.
Founded in 1990 in Acevedo, Huila, Finca Las Flores has grown from a small family plot into a reference point for Colombian specialty coffee. Now led by Johan and Diego Vergara, the farm combines generational knowledge with forward-looking practices that prioritize both quality and responsibility.
Las Flores focuses on varieties like Bourbon, Typica, Geisha, and Chiroso, carefully matched to the farm’s altitude and soils. Processing innovations such as anaerobic fermentation and thermal shock highlight the unique character of each lot while maintaining consistency and traceability from cherry to export. Beyond their own production, the Vergaras support neighboring growers with processing advice and share best practices, helping raise incomes and promote sustainable growth across their community.
