Grade 15+
The Geisha Letty green coffee beans from Finca El Paraíso in Cauca, Colombia show why this farm has become one of the most talked-about names in specialty coffee. Led by Alex and Diego Bermudez, El Paraíso is known for precision and innovation, applying a scientific approach that gives roasters both distinction and consistency.
This Geisha lot, scoring 90+pts is refined and expressive, offering notes of yellow fruit, pineapple, apricot, caramel, and delicate florals. It has a medium body, citric acidity, and a prolonged, bright finish that highlights the variety’s elegance. The process includes a double anaerobic fermentation at low temperature with tropical yeast, followed by a thermal shock wash and dehumidified drying. Every step is designed to preserve aromatics and stabilize the profile.
Packed in 24 kg boxes with Grain-Pro for maximum freshness, Geisha Letty is a high-end Colombian green coffee available in limited volumes—an opportunity for roasters to feature a rare and carefully crafted expression of Geisha.
Geisha Letty is a product of Finca El Paraíso’s dedication to controlled innovation. By combining low-temperature fermentation with carefully selected yeast, the Bermudez family draws out fruit and floral complexity while keeping the profile clean and repeatable.
The use of thermal shock and dehumidified drying locks in these delicate flavors, ensuring the coffee holds its structure through roasting and brewing. The result is a 93pts Geisha that balances elegance with consistency, standing out as one of the most distinctive green coffees from Colombia.
Finca El Paraiso stands out for its Consistency, Authenticity, and Knowledge. Their proprietary technology enables precise control of fermentation, ensuring exceptional and repeatable sensory profiles. Their innovative Thermal Shock technique preserves delicate flavors by using hot and cold water to stop fermentation at the perfect moment, setting new trends in the coffee industry.
Backed by deep knowledge of microbiology, they expertly manage microorganisms and employ advanced drying methods, such as dehumidifiers, to prevent overoxidation. This scientific precision, combined with creativity, consistently produces vibrant, high-quality coffee, making Finca El Paraiso a leader in the specialty coffee world.
Founded in 2008 by Diego Bermúdez and his brother Alexander, Finca El Paraíso is located in the Piendamó region of Cauca, Colombia. Though not from a coffee-growing family, Diego’s passion and hard work led him into coffee cultivation while studying Agricultural Business Administration, selling coffee to cooperatives to support his education.
In 2015, Finca El Paraiso won first place in a regional coffee competition, launching them into the specialty coffee world. Their success inspired them to keep innovating in coffee processing, and today they continue to deliver exceptional, sustainable coffee that has disrupted the world of specialty coffee.
