Borgonovo's Pacamara Washed, small quantities available

El Salvador Pacamara

Grade SHG EP

Finca La Vela reflects the generational expertise of the Borgonovo family  coffee producers since 1971. This experience comes through this Pacamara green coffee. grown between 1,200 and 1,600 masl to develop good density and natural sweetness.

In the cup, this naturally-processed Pacamara delivers a fruit-driven profile with depth and texture. Expect ripe peach, mango, and jam-like sweetness with pineapple notes. The natural process adds body and intensity, resulting in a smooth, mouthfeel balanced acidity and a long finish. The large Pacamara seed structure contributes to an even roast and performs well across different styles.

Packed in very small quantities, this Pacamara is suited for specialty roasters seeking a fruit-forward Central American coffee with strong varietal identity, consistent structure, and reliable performance in both single origin and high-impact blend components.

This is unroasted coffee ready to be roasted at home or your local roastery.

What is so special about this coffee?

Pacamara is a variety known for its large bean size and expansive cup profile. At Finca La Vela, it is grown between 1,200 and 1,600 m.a.sl, where cooler temperatures slow cherry maturation and contribute to seed density and sugar concentration. The Natural process allows controlled fermentation and prolonged contact between the fruit and the seed, shaping its layered fruit profile and fuller body.

What sets this lot apart is the Borgonovo family’s integrated production model. With generational experience and control across farming, milling, and export preparation, they maintain structured quality control from harvest through shipment. The result is a Pacamara green coffee that carries varietal presence with consistency expressive in the cup while supported by disciplined production.
