By focusing on high-potential varieties and innovative processing, they’ve built Las Flores into one of Huila’s most respected farms for specialty coffee.
This Red Bourbon natural undergoes extended fermentation, bag rest, and thermal shock, creating a cup with striking character. Expect cherry blossom florals, bright cherry candy sweetness, and rich dark chocolate depth. With a medium body, lively malic acidity, and a lingering fruity finish, it’s a balanced yet expressive coffee—perfect for special occasions and filter brews.

Founded in 1990 in Acevedo, Huila, Finca Las Flores has grown from a small family plot into a reference point for Colombian specialty coffee. Now led by Johan and Diego Vergara, the farm combines generational knowledge with forward-looking practices that prioritize both quality and responsibility.
Las Flores focuses on varieties like Bourbon, Typica, Geisha, and Chiroso, carefully matched to the farm’s altitude and soils. Processing innovations such as anaerobic fermentation and thermal shock highlight the unique character of each lot while maintaining consistency and traceability from cherry to export. Beyond their own production, the Vergaras support neighboring growers with processing advice and share best practices, helping raise incomes and promote sustainable growth across their community.
CADEFIHUILA is a non-profit cooperative that’s been supporting coffee farmers in Huila, Colombia for over 60 years. With a network of 45 coffee purchase points, 46 fertilizer stores, and 16 cupping labs, it ensures farmers have the resources they need to grow high-quality coffee. They also provide drying services and market access for small producers.
The cooperative follows strict quality standards, meeting global certifications like Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, 4C, and C.A.F.E. Practices. This helps members tap into high-demand markets for specialty coffee. By guaranteeing cash payments and offering the best price possible, CADEFIHUILA plays a key role in keeping the local coffee industry stable and growing.
