Grown in the Palestina municipality of Huila in Colombia, this Sidra Bourbon Natural Green coffee comes from the award-winning Finca San Rafael. Managed by Don Linarco Rodriguez, a third-generation grower and supported by the CADEFIHUILA Coop. At 1,710 masl, under shade trees and native forest, his family has been growing coffee for over 50 years, and in the past decade, they’ve focused on rare varietals to compete in the Cup of Excellence—earning second place in 2021.
This natural coffee is fermented in sealed barrels for 90-hours, then dried slowly in marquesinas for 28 days with a 15-day stabilization period. The result is a fruit-forward profile with mango and raspberry acidity, a silky mouthfeel, and sweet notes of milk chocolate, brown sugar, and candied orange. Its medium body and citric acidity are well balanced, with a lingering sweet finish—perfect for filter and espresso-based brews.

CADEFIHUILA is a non-profit cooperative that’s been supporting coffee farmers in Huila, Colombia for over 60 years. With a network of 45 coffee purchase points, 46 fertilizer stores, and 16 cupping labs, it ensures farmers have the resources they need to grow high-quality coffee. They also provide drying services and market access for small producers.
The cooperative follows strict quality standards, meeting global certifications like Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, 4C, and C.A.F.E. Practices. This helps members tap into high-demand markets for specialty coffee. By guaranteeing cash payments and offering the best price possible, CADEFIHUILA plays a key role in keeping the local coffee industry stable and growing.
