Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD) Policy

This document outlines JA Coffee's approach to identifying, preventing, and addressing human rights and environmental risks in our supply chain in accordance with the Fairtrade Trader Standard.

Human Rights Policy

JA Coffee is committed to respecting and protecting human rights throughout our operations and supply chain. Our company supports the principles outlined in the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the Fairtrade Trader Standard.

We expect all employees and suppliers to respect the following principles:

• No child labor
• No forced or bonded labor
• No discrimination based on gender, race, religion, or background
• Safe and healthy working conditions
• Respect for workers’ rights and freedom of association
• Compliance with all applicable labor laws
• Respect for local communities and indigenous rights

We work with suppliers who share these values and comply with Fairtrade standards. Any concerns or violations related to human rights will be addressed through dialogue and corrective actions with suppliers.

Environmental Policy

JA Coffee Inc is committed to minimizing environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices in our coffee supply chain.

Our environmental commitments include:

• Avoiding sourcing from areas associated with illegal deforestation
• Encouraging responsible water use and waste management
• Supporting environmentally sustainable farming practices
• Promoting responsible sourcing aligned with Fairtrade environmental requirements

We prioritize working with certified suppliers, including Fairtrade-certified producer organizations, which follow environmental protection standards.

Suppliers who fail to meet these expectations may be asked to implement corrective actions or may be reconsidered as supply partners.
